ESP is well into its 7th year of operation as a locally-owned multi-faceted design, illustration and publishing company. Although, designs, trends and techniques have changed, there have been constants, from which, we have never waivered.

This is because we maintain a unique approach to both our clients and our work. Philosophies that may seem hopelessly out-of-date are, in reality, values that other firms have laid down because they get in the way of more important things like; profit margins, growth of the customer base, increased production and staff efficiency. Any practice that takes time or manpower, without returning a profit, has been trimmed from the itinerary of many of today's companies. After all, time IS money!

In comparing ourselves to the competition, and researching feedback from our own clients, several key points are evident:

• the quality of our work;
• our deliberate lack of a Hard Sell attitude;
• dedication to the individual needs, schedule and budget of each client;
• the flexibility and efficiency of our staff when handling special needs situations;
• designers willing to go well beyond the point of merely 'good enough' on any project.

ESP believes in providing whatever options it takes to achieve client satisfaction! For example; we will not charge any client for the number of colors that their project requires. If we print that project in-house, there is still no additional charge for colors. If we out-source a project to another printhouse, we pass the color charge on to the client - no more than what it costs our company to have the colors used in the project.

We think that our hours should be more flexible, as well. Ideas do not develop only Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.! If a project takes the entire staff working on a weekend, or, late into the evening - so be it.

High quality ingredients make for a high quality product! Using only best quality of inks and stock available is a given - regardless of the method or the media. This brings us to the bottom line of our philosophy;

• Every product that goes out our doors is a reflection of our company. The finished product speaks volumes about its manufacturer and/or creator. If a client project does not look good, we do not look good! And this, good people, is not an option!
