The following is the HTML code required to insert a link back to ESP.

<a href="http://www.espconcepts.com" target="_blank">
<img src="(FOLDER)/esp_link_02.png" border="0"
alt="(Visit ESP Concepts for hundreds of FREE design files!)">

There are three lines of HTML code above. It matters not whether this code is on only one line or three. This explanation will take the lines, one at the time, and give the details of the code and what your options are.

Line #1 Above: This is the Destination which the Link will take the person clicking the image. The Target is very important in this particular instance. It has been deliberately included in this piece of code in order to have the Destination open in a NEW window. Thereby allowing the click-er to look at our site, or, at least give them the opportunity to Bookmark our site for future reference, without taking them away from your site.

Line

Line #2 Above: The text in RED reflects the name of the Folder, in which, you have placed the Link Back image. Of course, following the forward slash (/) is the name of the Link image you are using. Then comes the BORDER amount, set to zero.

Line

Line #3 Above: Finally, comes the ALT code which allows you to enter alternate text in the event that an image fails to load; a user has their system set to show text only; or; you want to give the user a message or description about the image or link.

Line

The above code is not copy-and-paste. Below, you will find copy-and-paste code.

INSTRUCTIONS: If you are familiar with HTML there is no need for you to review this information. If you are not quite certain, read on.Using your cursor, highlight the code in the blue box. Go to Edit/Copy in the Menu Bar. Open your HTML editor, or, Notepad, and click Edit/Paste. The code will paste out in a single line. There is only one acceptable break point in order to protect the integrity of the code; After the '>' in the anchor tag (after _Blank">).

Make certain that you edit the code before uploading your document to your server! Edit your Folder Name - where you placed this image. And, you are all done. When you are finished editing the code, copy and paste it where you want it on your page. This would usually be at the bottom of your document.
